PRAYER TO MOTHER KUNDALINI
Wake up Mother Kundalini.
Thou whose nature is Bliss Eternal—The Bliss of Brahman.
Thou dwelling like a serpent asleep at the lotus of Muladhara,
Sore, affected and distressed am I in body and mind,
Do thou bless me and leave thy place at the basic lotus.
Consort of Siva the Self-caused Lord of Universe,
Do thou take thy upward course through the central canal.
Leaving behind Svadhishthana, Manipuraka, Anahata, Vishuddha, and Ajna.
Be thou united with Siva, thy Lord the God.
At Sahasrara—the thousand-petalled-lotus in the brain.
Sport there freely, O Mother, Giver of Bliss Supreme.
Mother, who is Existence, Knowledge, Bliss Absolute.
Wake up, Mother Kundalini! Wake up
PURIFICATION Selfless service of humanity prepares the aspirant for the attainment of cosmic consciousness, or the life of oneness or unity with God. By doing service you purify your heart. Humility, pure love, sympathy, tolerance and mercy are developed. Sense of separateness is annihilated. Selfishness is eradicated. Eventually, you get knowledge of the Self. Perform regular selfless service daily with the thought, “I am serving God in manifestation.” When you serve, remember that you work for God. You will soon grow spiritually.
Purity of mind leads to perfection in Yoga. Regulate your conduct when you deal with others. Have no feeling of jealousy towards others. Be compassionate. Do not hate sinners. Be kind to all. Develop complacency towards superiors. Success in Yoga will be rapid if you put in your maximum energy in your Yogic practice. You must have a keen longing for liberation and intense Vairagya also. You must be sincere and earnest. Intent and constant meditation is necessary for entering into Samadhi.
When a man practises Yogic Kriyas, naturally various kinds of Siddhis are acquired. The Siddhis are hindrances to Realisation. The Yogi should not at all care for these Siddhis, if he wants to advance further and get the highest realisation, the final Goal. He who runs after Siddhis will become the biggest house-holder and a worldly-minded man. Self-realisation only is the Goal. The sum total of knowledge of this universe is nothing when compared to the spiritual knowledge that is obtained through Self-realisation.
Purify your mind through selfless service of humanity. Service of humanity is service of God. See the lord in the face of a poor and a sick man. Serve him with intense faith and Bhav. When you purify yourself by selfless untiring service for a number of years, the light of knowledge will flash in you, the darkness of ignorance will vanish and you will ultimately merge in God.
St. Francis also teaches us how to dispel darkness: “Where there is hatred, let me sow Love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; and where there is sadness, joy; where there is darkness, Light. This simple prayer is not merely great and beautiful in its idea; it is also great in its philosophy, which it conceals within its words. It concludes by saying that this is the way to find joy within yourself, peace, and to liberate yourself from the little self to attain your birthright – the eternal Light and everlasting life. Let your life be a bright and shining factor as something divine and positive that all negativity of our human life is replaced by that which is desirable and bright.<
Nirvikalpa is the state of superconsciousness. There are no Vikalpas of any sort in this condition. This is the Goal of life. All the mental activities cease now. The functions of the intellect and ten Indriyas cease entirely. The aspirant rests now in Atman. There is no distinction between subject and object. The world and the pairs of opposites vanish completely. This is a state beyond all relativity. The aspirant gets knowledge of Self, supreme peace and infinite, indescribable bliss. When Kundalini is taken to the Sahasrara and when it is united with Lord Siva, perfect Samadhi ensues. The Yogic student drinks the Nectar of Immortality. He has reached the Goal. Mother Kundalini has done Her task now. Glory to Mother Kundalini! May Her blessings be upon you all!
Om Shanti! Shanti! Shanti!
Kundalini Shaktipat Siddha/MahaYoga
A Guide to Shaktipat - Pages 102-103 Indifference to worldly pleasures, the ability to endure suffering, control over the mind, victory over anger and desires, fearlessness, equanimity of mind and then Self-realization are the natural outcomes of Shakti awakening, Upon Awakening of the Kundalini, the Sadhana that takes place spontaneously is called Siddha yoga or Maha yoga. It is called Siddha Yoga because Sadhana occurs by itself, without any effort by the aspirant. It is called Maha yoga because it embodies all four yogas Mantra yoga, Hatha yoga, Laya yoga and Raja yoga. All these must be taken in the form of the internal edifice of the Maha yoga. Depending on the belief and faith of the aspirant, the Shakti makes him do Japa (Mantra repetition) of different God forms such as Rama, Krishna, Shiva or goddesses. When the aspirant is excited with devotion he may start to dance, weep, laugh and sing and sometimes behave like an insane person. When he experinces the goddess Kundalini in his heart, he feels the Kriyas she is doing, love, faith, devotion and a sentiment of surrender develop and strengthen. His ego of doership starts to melt. He becomes free from anxiety. Sometimes his mind becomes absorbed in devotional Samadhi and melts into the Samadhi of nothingness. Consequently, sthitaprajna or a state of equanimity mind attained in Raj yoga is experienced. The state of Unamni or joyfulness beyond mind starts to ensue.
